Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice explains which categories of personal data we collect through argoajans.com, by phone, email and our forms, the purposes for which that data is processed, who it may be shared with and your rights under Article 11 of KVKK. It covers visitors to the Site, contact form users and anyone applying for an internship or a job.

This is an English summary of our Turkish-language KVKK Aydınlatma Metni, provided for convenience. Turkish law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) governs how we handle personal data, and the Turkish version is the legally binding text.

1. Data Controller

Under Turkey’s Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), personal data you share through argoajans.com (the “Site”) or outside it (phone, email, forms) is processed by Argo Ajans – Mehmet Said Göksu (“Argo Ajans”) as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

• Identity and contact details: name, phone number, email.
• Professional/CV details: university, department, experience and CV/portfolio links shared via internship or job application forms.
• Customer transaction details: project requests, message content, payment/invoice details (for payment transactions).
• Transaction security details: IP address, cookie records (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes of Processing

• Evaluating and responding to requests submitted via the contact, internship or job application forms,
• Carrying out contractual processes and after-sales support for goods/services,
• Processing payments and keeping financial records,
• Fulfilling legal obligations and following up on requests/complaints,
• Ensuring the security and functionality of the Site.

4. Sharing of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with authorised public bodies where legally required, with our contracted payment institutions for payment transactions (Tami, a Garanti BBVA company), with our email/SMTP hosting provider, and where necessary with our legal advisers, under the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK. Your data is not transferred abroad; this notice will be updated if that changes.

5. Method and Legal Basis of Collection

Your personal data is collected through the Site’s contact, internship and job application forms, phone calls and email correspondence, on the legal bases set out in Article 5 of KVKK: being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, the data controller’s legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights, and, where required, your explicit consent.

6. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may apply to Argo Ajans to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• Request information about it if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, domestically or abroad,
• Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• Request its deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK,
• Request that the above be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• Object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis by automated systems alone,
• Request compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing

7. How to Apply

To exercise the rights above, you may send your request in writing, along with identifying documents, to Tariş Cd. (1497. Sok.) No. 5C Ofis P22, 35230 Alsancak, İzmir, or via our contact page. Requests are concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature.
